Michael Hamilton is a graduate of Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he received a BS in Biochemistry in 1980 and an MBA in Finance in 1983.

Michael has 21 years experience in management and financial oversight of media properties. He began his career in management with Barnett Banks of Florida. His responsibilities included commercial banking and lending. He served there until 1987 and accepted a position with Interstate Broadcasting Systems as controller, overseeing the finances of commercial properties and four large market radio stations in southern California, Denver and Phoenix.

In 1992, Michael took over as general manager of KRDS AM and FM, the two religiously formatted Phoenix stations, for Interstate Broadcasting Systems. He was directly responsible for ministry promotion, community involvement, church relations, advertising sales, and administrative duties.

Michael joined Salem Communications Corporation as general manager of KPXQ in Phoenix in 1996. There he oversaw the start-up and ongoing operations of the station.  His responsibilities included the development of strategies to promote ministry broadcasts both on-air and in the community. His duties also included management of KCTK, Salem’s conservative talk station in Phoenix, airing syndicated national talk show hosts.

He joined Walter Bennett Communications in 2001 as Vice President. His responsibilities include implementing strategies to serve the company’s clients, improving ministry viability, maintaining station relationships, the development of national ministry campaigns, and broadcast development.

Today he is CEO of Hamilton Strategies, a full service media and public relations firm near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Michael has served in the ministry of Teen Challenge of Arizona and is a member of Calvary Church of Souderton. He is married to Debbie and has two children, Riley, 22 and Jazmin, 19. They live in Skippack, PA.
