Scouts Honor: Duty to God and Country
Dr. Alex McFarland Teaches Believers How to Stand Firm in God While Living in this World

Charlotte, N.C. Boy Scouts are amongst the few organizations left that have not abandoned values such as Duty to God and Country. This year they celebrate their 100th anniversary and are still holding firm to their beliefs. They have proved themselves over and over again in court cases that they are good apologists who can articulate the importance of believing in God.

In a society where fast-paced media constantly pushes Christians to questions their values and their beliefs on issues like abortion, same sex marriage, and evolution, many have become confused or weary of seeking the truth.  Dr. Alex McFarland, President of Southern Evangelical Seminary, author, speaker and host of the daily, live radio program that airs across the nation, Sound Rezn calls out to believers of all ages to hold firm to the truth and not lose sight of their citizenship in heaven while existing on this earth.

Dr. McFarland understands that believers need to learn how to coherently express their beliefs and be prepared for tough discussions on faith-related topics. Equipping Christians to effectively provide solid apologetics, (the practice of presenting sound reasons for what one believes), is one of the primary foci of this years Apologetics Conference occurring this fall on October 15-16 in Charlotte, NC. Visit www.nationalapologeticsconference.com for locations, speakers and other details.

Alex McFarland will be joined by the nations foremost theologians and biblical teachers of the time to assist people of all ages. The Southern Evangelical Seminary, host of the yearly Apologetics Conference, now in its 17th year, has made all the necessary preparations for attendees to discover how apologetics can empower people of all ages to live their faith and share it effectively with todays world. The Conference will help believers to gain confidence in foundational thinking based on a clear and consistent biblical worldview in the Christian faith, and empower them to interact in todays culture while still accurately witnessing to those who would question their beliefs , states Dr. McFarland.
Speakers at the 2010 National Conference on Christian Apologetics include:

Chuck Colson, Founder and President, Prison Fellowship Ministries
Marvin Olasky, Editor-in-chief of World Magazine

If believers wish to continue to equip him or herself through a formal education, the conferences proud sponsor, the Southern Evangelical Seminary (SES) offers a comprehensive curriculum in Christian Apologetics.

In addition, Dr. Alex McFarland equips people of all ages with the knowledge and passion to truly defend Gods Word through his daily radio show, Sound Rzn.
